Trump Announces Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas

WASHINGTON, DC - OCTOBER 08: U.S. President Donald Trump listens to speakers during a roundtable discussion in the State Dining Room of the White House on October 08, 2025 in Washington, DC. Trump’s administration held the roundtable to discuss the anti-fascist Antifa movement after signing an executive order designating it as a “domestic terrorist organization”. Well, well, well. For a guy the media told us was “dangerous,” “unfit,” and one cheeseburger away from ending global civilization, President Donald J. Trump seems to have just pulled off—again—what generations of diplomats, Ivy League brain trusts, and taxpayer-funded think tanks couldn’t: getting Hamas and Israel to the table and hammering out the first real step toward actual peace.

Yeah. That just happened.

And no, this wasn’t some kumbaya, sing-around-the-campfire moment courtesy of the U.N. or a sleepy Biden-led press conference full of soft lighting and softer words. This was a power move on the world stage. One led, directed, and executed by a president the Left has spent years trying to erase.

But here he is—front and center—again, not just setting the narrative but becoming it.

The viral photo says it all. Secretary of State Marco Rubio leans in mid-meeting, hand-delivers a note to Trump. The energy in the room shifts. The note? A now-famous message:
“Very close. We need you to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce deal first.”

And just like that—boom. The President fires off a message heard around the world.

“BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS.”

No stuttering. No diplomatic dodging. Just pure, unfiltered American leadership—and the kind that terrifies bureaucrats in Brussels and foggy rooms in Foggy Bottom.

And the praise? It’s not trickling in—it’s pouring in.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in one of the most direct acknowledgments of U.S. leadership we’ve seen in years, gave Trump the credit he earned:
“Through steadfast resolve, powerful military action, and the great efforts of our great friend and ally President Trump…”

With the approval of the first phase of the plan, all our hostages will be brought home. This is a diplomatic success and a national and moral victory for the State of Israel.

From the beginning, I made it clear: we will not rest until all our hostages return and all our goals…

— Benjamin Netanyahu – בנימין נתניהו (@netanyahu) October 8, 2025

Let’s pause right there. That’s not a Hallmark card. That’s a wartime leader saying: “Trump got it done.”

But Netanyahu wasn’t alone. Former Hamas hostages—yes, actual survivors—along with families of those still trapped, publicly thanked President Trump for what many believed was impossible just weeks ago. If all goes according to plan, 20 remaining hostages are expected to be released by Monday. That’s not just foreign policy—that’s human lives saved.

Former hostages Emily Damari and Romi Gonen live on Instagram celebrating the signing of the hostage deal: “How do you explain to people how you feel at this moment? Yes!!! I’m shaking, my whole body is trembling. Wow!” https://t.co/cerELdMgfo pic.twitter.com/jPn6qxQ5Pd

Cue the panic in legacy media newsrooms.

ABC News called it a “huge night,” reluctantly admitting the breakthrough’s magnitude. But of course, CNN couldn’t help but play the semantics game. Jake Tapper, with his signature furrowed brow and tepid enthusiasm, declared,

“This is a ceasefire deal, right? This is not a larger peace deal…”

.@jaketapper‘s first reaction to President Trump’s monumental announcement that Israel and Hamas have agreed to the first phase of his peace deal is to refuse to call it a peace deal.

Translation? “Please don’t give Trump the win. Please. Not again.”

Too late, Jake.

Fox News’ Brit Hume—no fanboy, mind you—called the agreement “almost impossible.” Even he seemed surprised at the speed and scope of what Trump accomplished. And while the media still picks at labels, the rest of the world is staring down a potential end to war and a clear path—yes, a path—to something Biden’s team can’t even define without rewriting the dictionary: a Palestinian state with actual stability.

And then there’s Nate Morris, Senate candidate from Kentucky, who didn’t mince words:
“Not only should the agreement win Trump a Nobel Peace Prize, but the award should be renamed after the president.”

Too bold? Maybe. But considering Obama got one for… existing? Let’s not act like this is a stretch.

Here’s the part no one wants to admit, especially in D.C.: when Trump is in office, the world moves. Hostages get freed. Enemies sit down. Allies act stronger. And America stops apologizing.

This isn’t just about Gaza. This is about what real leadership looks like in the face of global dysfunction, endless wars, and a media industrial complex addicted to pretending the Biden administration didn’t help fuel this mess.

“Make no mistake: this is a huge night,” says ABC News on President Trump’s Gaza Peace Deal.

“For the people of Gaza, this is going to be an enormous relief. For the people of Israel, potentially the end of a two-year-long nightmare.” pic.twitter.com/B8ooTzBBz1

Now the only question left is—what happens when the media can’t ignore it anymore? When the peace holds? When the photos roll in? When the hostages are hugging their families?

How long before someone asks: What if Trump really is the only one who can pull this off?

Stay tuned. Because the story’s only just beginning.
