Trump Calls Pelosi ‘Old and Broken Political Hack’

President 👤Donald Trump took to social media Friday morning to continue his thoughts on former Speaker 👤Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) retirement.

Pelosi, 85, a longtime adversary of Trump’s, announced she will retire after her current term is over in 2026.

“👤Nancy Pelosi, the old and broken political hack who impeached me twice and lost, is finally calling it ‘quits.’ She illegally made a fortune in the Stock Market, ripped off the American Public, and was a disaster for America. I’m glad to see the stench of 👤Nancy Pelosi go!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Pelosi saw success in the stock market in 2024, which Trump attributes to “inside information,” per Newsmax.

Her husband, Paul Pelosi, earned about 54% in returns last year, the New York Post reported, citing Bloomberg data.

Trump called this out in an August post.

“Crooked 👤Nancy Pelosi, and her very ‘interesting’ husband, beat every Hedge Fund in 2024. In other words, these two very average ‘minds’ beat ALL of the Super Geniuses on Wall Street, thousands of them,” Trump wrote.

“It’s all INSIDE iNFORMATION! Is anybody looking into this??? She is a disgusting degenerate, who Impeached me twice, on NO GROUNDS, and LOST! How are you feeling now, Nancy???” Trump continued.

Pelosi is currently in her 20th term, which included two terms as speaker of the House.

The animosity between Pelosi and Trump has been evident for years, including an incident in 2020 when she tore up Trump’s State of the Union address.

“I think she’s an evil woman. I’m glad she’s retiring. I think she did the country a great service by retiring,” Trump said Thursday in the Oval Office. “I think she was a tremendous liability for the country.”
