President Trump took to Twitter to slam the second round of 2020 Democratic presidential candidates during their debate on Thursday.

As IJR Blue reported, the second round of debates featured candidates like Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.). Trump went after them in a key moment in the debate when they were asked about their opinion on giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants.

Trump claimed the race was already won due to the radical ideas pushed by Democrats with no real way to pay for them.

“All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare,” tweeted Trump. “How about taking care of American Citizens first!? That’s the end of that race!”

He also slammed Biden and Sanders’ performances while pointing out that he was in the middle of an economic summit.

Other Republicans also spoke out about providing healthcare to illegal immigrants. Tim Murtagh, Trump’s director of communications, put free healthcare into perspective.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman (RNC) Ronna McDaniel slammed the suggestion, saying that the socialist policies would destroy the economy.

“Democrats want a socialist agenda that includes sky high taxes on the middle class while giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants,” tweeted McDaniel.

Kyle Morris also chimed in to speak out against the policies Democrat candidates support.

As IJR Red reported, many Democratic candidates support socialist policies with no plan for how to sustainably pay for them.
