Trump Thinks Lines at His Rallies Prove Polls Showing Him Losing to Democrats Are Wrong

President Trump isn’t happy with the latest poll out of Fox News after the network’s study shows him losing to Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden in a head to head race. When asked about the figures on Monday, Trump said: “I don’t believe it.”

He reasoned, “Every place I go, we have lines outside.” He then went on to rant about his recent New Hampshire rally, saying, “They had thousands of people outside. And then I see some phony website, some wise guys put up — that place was packed. And the New York Times actually saw that.”

When asked about the empty seats in the rally, Trump said, “Those people came down to be on the floor […] we had, I think they said, 17,000 people outside that couldn’t get it. The fire marshals closed it at a certain level. The arena announced — I don’t know the people at the arena — that I broke Elton John’s record.”

Trump has been fuming about the latest Fox News poll, which was released on August 15. Over the weekend he told reporters, “There’s something going on at Fox, I’ll tell you right now. And I’m not happy with it.” He added later, “Fox has changed. My worst polls have always been from Fox.”

But Trump seems only to suspend belief in the Fox News polls when they show him in a bad spot. Less than a month ago he touted a Fox poll in which respondents said that they approved of the economy. Of course, the same poll showed that the respondents disapproved of the job that Trump is doing as president.

Swillary was ‘supposed’ to win wasn’t she? Polls are not to be trusted. ‘Dewey Defeats Truman’ brought down the newspaper which ran that headline.

Way too early to put anything in the polls. Besides, as Monte says, the only day that’ll count is election day in 2020. AND, with the flubs, gaffes, lies, stupidity and pure unadulterated BS coming from every member of the Socialist (Nazi-wannabe) Party. Trump should not have to campaign for re-election to keep his job of Making America Great.

Recall Clinton/Kaine 2016

The only day that counts in this political debacle is 11/3/2020

Let’s reverse that argument. Polls showing Trump losing, despite his long lines, are wrong.

Remember that time in November 2016 when the polls showed him losing? Polls are not reality, just small, manicured slices of it.
