Trump Gives Kaepernick a Real Piece Of His Mind For Continuing ‘Disgraceful’ Nat’l Anthem Protests

After Monday’s presidential debate, San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick blasted Trump and said that America needs to be:

“Made great for the first time.”

Well, the GOP presidential nominee sat down with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Wednesday and gave Kaepernick a piece of his mind.

When O’Reilly asked Trump how he would handle Kaepernick and told him the backup quarterback for the 49ers took a shot at him, Trump responded, via Niners Nation:

“Well, I don’t know what he said about me. But I think what he’s doing is disgraceful. Is he starting yet or is he still a second string quarterback?

He’s making a tremendous amount of money. He’s making a tremendous amount of money. He’s leading the American dream. He’s trying to make a point. But I don’t think he’s making it the correct way.

Personally, if it was me, I would not be happy if I were the team owner, and I don’t think I’m going to tell you what I would do, but I’m telling you, I would take a different position.”

Yet, Trump also recognized Kaepernick’s right to take a knee during the anthem and said, “They are paying him all of this money. And I think what he is doing is very bad for the spirit of the country. At the same time, he has the right to protest and that’s one of the beautiful things about the country.”

However, O’Reilly wasn’t able to get an answer from The Donald about the way he’d punish Kaepernick for his anthem protests. The reason: Trump didn’t want to create too much of a headline in the news.
