Trump Calls for ‘Immediately’ Deporting Undocumented Immigrants ‘With No Judges or Court Cases’

On Sunday, President Donald Trump advocated for immigrants who illegally enter the United States to be sent “back from where they came” without going through deportation proceedings.

“When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order,” the president tweeted.

Trump also wrote that United States immigration policy is “unfair” for individuals who enter the country legally.

“Our immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting on line for years,” he wrote.

“Immigration must be based on merit — we need people who will help to Make America Great Again!” Trump added.

The president’s early morning tweetstorm comes just a few hours after he tweeted to tell Democrats not to resist immigration reform that would create “strong borders.”

“We are doing a far better job than [former President George W.] Bush and [former President Barack] Obama, but we need strength and security at the Border! Cannot accept all of the people trying to break into our Country,” he tweeted.

Immigration, which has been a cornerstone of the Trump administration from his first day in office, has been a topic of heated discussion over the last few weeks.

The discussion has been particularly tense over the implementation of a “zero tolerance” policy at the border that led to the separation of thousands of families.
