Trump Boots Nazi War Criminal from US — After He Was Found in ‘Abolish ICE’ Advocate Ocasio-Cortez’s District

On Monday, the last known Nazi collaborator living in the U.S. was arrested and wheeled from his home in Queens, New York.

The Trump administration announced Tuesday morning that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents removed and deported a 95-year-old, Jakiw Palij, back to Germany.

Watch:

Palij was a former Nazi armed guard in German-occupied Poland who immigrated to the U.S. in 1949 and became a U.S. citizen in 1957, after lying about being a Nazi.

“President Trump commends his Administration’s comprehensive actions, especially ICE’s actions, in removing this war criminal from United States soil,” the Office of the Press Secretary statement said. “Despite a court ordering his deportation in 2004, past administrations were unsuccessful in removing Palij.”

“To protect the promise of freedom for Holocaust survivors and their families, President Trump prioritized the removal of Palij,” the statement said. “Through extensive negotiations, President Trump and his team secured Palij’s deportation to Germany and advanced the United States’ collaborative efforts with a key European ally.”

In 2001, Palij admitted he had been at the SS Training camp in Trawniki in 1943, where men participated in murdering Jews in Poland, according to the statement.

“On November 3, 1943, approximately 6,000 Jewish children, women, and men who were incarcerated at the adjacent Trawniki Labor Camp were shot to death in one of the single largest massacres of the Holocaust,” the statement continued.

According to ABC News, U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell was told by President Donald Trump to make Palij’s deportation a number one priority.

“The United States will not tolerate those who facilitated Nazi crimes and other human rights violations, and they will not find a safe haven on American soil,” the statement said.

In 2003, Palij’s citizenship was revoked based on his alleged involvement in war crimes and immigration fraud.

Palij has been living in Jackson Heights, Queens for 13 years.

Watch:

In comparison to ICE and the Queens area, Queens so happens to be the district that Democratic Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won.

Another comparison — Ocasio-Cortez’s platform includes abolishing ICE to “clear the path to citizenship, and protect the rights of families to remain together.”

“We must abolish ICE and see to it that our undocumented neighbors are treated with the dignity and respect owed to all people, regardless of citizenship status,” her platform statement continued.

However, ICE agents were the one’s helping in the deportation of the former Nazi.

“I think people don’t realize how important and valuable ICE is,” Acting ICE Director Ronald Vitiello told Fox News on Monday.

He added that 20,000 Americans working for ICE risk their lives to protect the U.S.
