President Trump’s Florida rally was supposed to officially launch his 2020 campaign but the event didn’t go as smoothly as he probably would have liked. Supporters were stuck waiting outside the arena in a rainstorm beforehand and one rally-goer was even arrested after shoving a reporter from the local paper.

Michael Williams of the Orlando Sentinel was outside the event filming when he noticed a man being turned away because he tried to bring alcohol into the event. The man said, “F*** that, I’m a liberal now.”

Another man, since identified as 51-year-old Daniel Patrick Kestner, noticed that Williams filming and said, “I don’t want it,” adding, “I promise I’ll kick you in the nuts” before shoving Williams’ phone, saying, “This mother f***er’s taping me.”

After Kestner shoves the reporter, security quickly jumps in to get him off the property.

Here’s the clip: Warning, it contains graphic language

The man was later detained by the Secret Service and arrested by Orlando police, according to Williams.

The arrest report, as cited by the New York Post reads, “It should be noted the smell of alcohol was emitting from Kestner’s person and was more prevalent when he entered my patrol vehicle, indicating Kestner was intoxicated.”

He was charged for misdemeanor battery and told the Post, “If I struck him, he would’ve been bleeding, trust me. It’s not that big of a deal.”

In a statement given to the Washington Post, the Orlando Sentinel said: “We are fortunate Michael was not hurt, grateful to the Orlando police for their quick action, and proud of all our reporters for their courage and dedication to our community.”

After the video began to gain traction online, Florida Republican state representative Anthony Sabatini tweeted “MAGA.” After Williams called him out and asked why he seemed to be celebrating the assault, Sabatini deleted the tweet.

THOUSANDS of people attended this event, and the reporter finds 2 who are being stupid, and that somehow characterizes the entire thing. No agenda there………hmmm.

The man said, “F*** that, I’m a liberal now.” Well, sir, I think, secretly, judging by your behavior, you always were!! We, as conservatives, don’t behave in such a manner as to disrespect our party OR our President, we leave that to the nasty liberals…..

What a fully detailed account of a nothing-burger incident! But where are the in-depth stories of the hundreds of Trump supporters who have been beaten bloody / hospitalized over the last 3 years…?

Must have been a Leftist who smelled the alcohol and made the assessment at arm’s length. And, smelling alcohol on one’s breath does NOT mean that person is intoxicated.
