Dixon lectured Pence from the stage about fears that a Trump presidency will promote bigotry and racism. In an odd turn of plot, some people are now calling Dixon a “hypocrite” after a few of his tweets from 2012 and 2013 have resurfaced.
They feel his tweets promote disrespectful messages towards women and racism towards white people:

@TAMIKASLAWRENCE the problem is ho's aren't what they used to be. If ho game would step up, cats wouldn't get distracted.

“@jleefilm: 4 every racist comment I get about Trayvon Im going 2 turn 1 white married suburban housewife & mother n2 a jump off” The. Best.

Twitter users were quick to call the actor out:

You talk like this and you think you're man enough to lecture someone on diversity?

Reports have also surfaced that some of the cast of ‘Hamilton’ hasn’t had a strong history with voting:
— Kellyanne Conway (@KellyannePolls) November 22, 2016
Based on voting records, the following cast members might have taken it easy on exercising their “inalienable rights”:
- Brandon Dixon (Aaron Burr) – did not vote in 2012
- Javier Muñoz (Alexander Hamilton) – last voted in 2006
- Seth Stewart (Thomas Jefferson) – voted in the 2008
- Anthony Ramos Martinez (Philip Hamilton) – registered to vote in 2012
- Okieriete “Oak” Onaodowan (James Madison) – registered to vote in 2005
Voting records for 2016 haven’t been released yet, so it is possible that these cast members did indeed visit polling booths on November 8th.
Regardless, many found it noteworthy:

The real Alexander Hamilton famously dug himself a hole after keeping a strict, written record of his affair. It seems that the actor playing him didn’t learn from Hamilton’s mistake not to put anything in writing that you don’t want to one day be used against you.
