Before the sun rose in Washington D.C. Friday morning, President Donald Trump was already on Twitter, unleashing an attack on Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Tweeting insults toward the special counsel isn’t unique for the president, but today’s seven-tweet storm comes right before Mueller is expected to file a new report on the dealings of Trump’s former campaign adviser Paul Manafort.

The report, according to the New York Times, will detail how much jail time Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen will serve for lying to Congress. Manafort could be open to new sentencing from the special counsel’s office as well.

However, Trump strayed away from mentioning Cohen and Manafort in his Twitter tirade, instead aiming to discredit Mueller by mentioning “conflicts of interest.”

Trump also threw in some of his favorite catch-phrases: “lyin’ James Comey,” “witch hunt,” “crooked Hillary,” “17 angry Democrats,” and, of course, “fake news.”

Trump took a quick break between tweets to acknowledge the anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor before continuing, claiming that he would release a counter-report to combat Mueller’s findings.

Soon after, Trump used Twitter to announce two major hirings for the administration. A new UN ambassador and a new attorney general.

“I am pleased to announce that I will be nominating The Honorable William P. Barr for the position of Attorney General of the United States,” he tweeted. “As the former AG for George H.W. Bush and one of the most highly respected lawyers and legal minds in the Country, he will be a great addition to our team. I look forward to having him join our very successful Administration!”

Barr will likely face intense questioning from the Senate about what he expects his role to be in the investigation into Trump’s alleged ties with Russia. Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the investigation, a move constantly criticized by the president.

So Trump is calling himself a Total Witch? Should the witches of the world cast a spell to give him extra large bone spurs, since he’s insulting them by claiming to be one of them?

Sadly, the Fake News media will spend more time bitching about how unpresidential Trump’s tweets are, than they will covering the truth contained in them!

End the Mueller circus now!!
