Trump Speaks At ‘Young Black Leadership Summit’ — Just Look at How Enthusiastic the Crowd Is When He Enters

As his administration is showing “record-breaking economic results for black Americans,” President Donald Trump spoke at the “Young Black Leadership Summit” — where he received a huge welcome.

Several hundred young black conservative leaders chanted “We want Trump!” at the White House on Friday to share their support for the president.

“It is my great honor to be with so many brilliant, courageous, patriotic, and proud Americans,” President Trump addressed the crowd. “Seeing all of you here today fills me with an extraordinary confidence in America’s future.”

Under the Trump administration, black Americans’ unemployment rate fell to a record low, hitting 5.9 percent, while the employment increased by 976,000 since his election, according to a White House press release.

Nearly 35 million Americans are affected by President Trump’s Opportunity Zones Incentives, which allows promoting investment in distressed communities.

With more job training and tax reform, President Trump has promoted minority-owned businesses.

The president’s tax cuts allowed for more than $1 trillion to be contributed annually to minority-owned small businesses, according to the press release.

In 2017, President Trump was accompanied by leaders from historically black colleges and universities as he signed an executive order to move the HBCU initiative — which “assists colleges in accessing federally sponsored programs, including government research projects and student aid” — from the Department of Education to the White House.

President Trump opened up his remarks addressing the bomb packages that were mailed to prominent Democrat politicians and public figures; the suspect of sending 13 suspicious packages, Cesar Sayoc, is now in FBI custody and is charged with five federal crimes.

“Americans must unify and we must show the world that we are united together in peace and love and harmony as fellow American citizens,” President Trump said in his opening remarks.

  1. Those on the left, especially the socialists and communists, must be perturbed by events like this as they realize that not everyone is drinking the Kool-Aid. Now they will cry ‘fake news’ won’t they?

  2. I see Americans lionizing our land of opportunity. Thank you President Trump. The Opportunity Zone incentives have yet to kick in but as they do expect to see many more minorities voting Republican as they find the riches of capitalism: prosperity, optimism and the dignity in work

  3. How inspiring that he spoke about results and Americans, without pandering to grievances. q.v. Dim rallies.
