After winning his UFC 229 match on Saturday, Nik Lentz wanted to give the newest member of the Supreme Court some love — and a new nickname.
After Joe Rogan congratulated him after winning his match, Lentz paused to show his support for Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“First and foremost, I want to give a shout out to my homie Brett Kavanaugh,” Lentz replied. “Way to go, Special K.”

After a bitter debate over Kavanaugh and whether he sexually assaulted Dr. Christine Blasey Ford during a house party while they were in high school, the Senate voted to confirm Kavanaugh to the nation’s court 50-48.
In response to his confirmation, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the Senate Republicans had done “violence” against the Supreme Court and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Today is a profoundly heart-breaking day. The @SenateGOP Majority has done violence to the reputation of both the Senate Judiciary Committee & Supreme Court. I will file a FOIA request so that the public can see the FBI report & underlying documents. pic.twitter.com/DNpRkbtk7Z

“The conduct of the Senate Republican Majority did violence to the reputation of both the Senate Judiciary Committee and the Supreme Court. We must proceed in a judicious manner to set the record straight and ensure that this never happens again,” she said.
However, others, such as Lentz, seem thrilled with “Special K’s” confirmation.
