Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) rebuked Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday, saying that he is “not an honorable person.”

The senator talked about Pence on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” when anchor Mika Brzezinski asked Warren if Pence is an honorable man during a segment on key issues.

Warren answered without hesitation, “No.”

When asked to expound on her reasoning, Warren denounced Pence for his established opposition to gay rights.

“Anyone who engages in the kind of homophobia and attacks on people who are different from himself is not an honorable person,” she said. “That’s not what honorable people do.”

This question comes after former Vice President Joe Biden referred to Pence as a “decent guy” earlier in the month but later backtracked on his comment and tweeted that “there is nothing decent about being anti-LGBTQ rights, and that includes the Vice President.”

A reporter asked Warren in Iowa earlier this month to respond to Biden’s view.

“I’m sorry, I followed Pence’s history on LBGTQ Americans, and I don’t think that is a decent position,” she responded, according to the Des Moines Register.

Warren has stood firm on her widespread opposition of the vice president since 2016 when Trump first selected Pence as his running mate, and she has personally criticized many of Pence’s views.

Warren voiced her frustrations on Pence, calling him and Trump “two small, insecure, weak men who use hate & fear to divide our country & our people.”

She also called out Pence in 2016 for his anti-abortion stance tweeting, “Of course [Donald Trump] — a guy who calls women fat pigs & bimbos — picked a VP who is famous for trying to control women’s bodies.”

Warren is not the only presidential hopeful to call out Pence this week, as South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg deemed him the “cheerleader of the porn star presidency” in a CNN town hall on Sunday.
