Watch Grandma Kick Off Her Shoes and Get Down to Some Banjo-Picking Bluegrass Music

It started out as a regular day at the Traces of Tiger Assisted Living Facility in Tiger, Georgia.

That is, until award-winning bluegrass songwriter Grizz Lee Marcus took out of his banjo and started picking away.

Almost immediately, one resident kicked off her loafers and started dancing…and she was pretty darn good at it, too.

According to fans on Marcus’ Facebook page, this is 85-year-old Dorothy Stockton. And Dorothy’s been cutting a rug for a long time.

In fact, she used to dance at the Tallulah Falls Opry House, where every Saturday night, folks would get together for some “home-spun fun” and mountain music.

The video of her dancing away has reached over a million people so far. Clearly, Dorothy’s making a name for herself as she brings a smile to people’s faces and reminds them of a simpler time.

You go, Dorothy!
