Fresh scrutiny is being directed at a remote New Mexico property once owned by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, as disturbing new allegations surface during an ongoing investigation.
According to the New York Post, lawmakers and investigators are revisiting claims tied to Zorro Ranch, a sprawling estate that has long been linked to accusations of abuse involving Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Among the latest claims, Rep. Melanie Stansbury described testimony from an individual who alleged he was drugged and brought to the ranch.
“A man actually claims that he met Jeffrey Epstein [and] was brought to the ranch, he was drugged,” Stansbury said during an interview with 60 Minutes Australia.
“He describes in detail a scene in which multiple young men were raped at the ranch in front of him after he was drugged,” she added.
Stansbury, who has advocated for victims connected to Epstein, characterized both Epstein and Maxwell in stark terms.
“Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were serial abusers; they really were super predators, and it was just how they lived their lives.”
Details surrounding how the information was obtained remain unclear, but the allegations are part of a broader effort to examine what may have occurred at the isolated property.
The renewed investigation follows earlier claims, including anonymous allegations from 2019 that suggested violent acts may have taken place at the ranch.
Those claims resurfaced after the release of additional materials tied to federal inquiries into Epstein.
“That particular tip [of men raped] matched the pattern of other abuse and transport and trafficking of women,” Stansbury said. “And that’s why it raised alarm bells for me.”
“There’s certainly hundreds of allegations of women who experienced really dark experiences,” she added. “So I think we’re really dedicated to getting to the bottom of the truth of what happened in New Mexico and on that property.”
One of Epstein’s accusers, Chauntae Davies, also shared her experiences, describing the atmosphere at the ranch.
“There was a lot of time being in my room like a mouse in a trap waiting for a knock on the door and for someone to say, ‘Jeffrey is ready for his massage now,’ ” she said.
“Rape, full on, forced on sexual rape,” she added.
Davies also recounted claims of unusual and disturbing incidents involving other individuals at the property.
“There is another account of a baby actually being born, and Ghislaine taking it,” she said. “I remember overhearing conversations about creating the perfect baby from the perfect gene pool.”
She described the ranch as isolated and unsettling.
“Zorro Ranch was probably the most eerie [place], just giant and quiet and literally in the middle of nowhere, and miles and miles of just mountains and dirt for miles,” Davies said.
Questions remain about whether a full accounting of events will ever be known.
“Whoever it is that is covering up has gone to great lengths to make sure it stays covered up,” she said. “I don’t think there will ever be a full disclosure of it all.”
Authorities did not conduct a full search of the property in 2019 after federal officials directed local investigators to stand down, citing a lack of probable cause at the time.
Now, lawmakers like Stansbury say they are pushing for further action, with the goal of turning what is known into formal legal proceedings.
She told the program she intends to make “Epstein files into Epstein trials.”
