President Donald Trump seems pretty content with how the Senate impeachment trial concluded on Wednesday, as senators voted mostly along party lines to acquit him.

At the annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Trump was seen holding up newspapers provided at the event with the headlines about his acquittal.

“ACQUITTED,” the USA Today headline read. Another, the president held up The Washington Post newspaper with the front-page reading, “Trump acquitted.”

The impeachment tensions were seemingly felt at the event, as Trump shook hands with his side of the platform — which was not the side House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was on.

As CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller earlier noted, “The President usually shakes everyone’s hand as he takes his seat.”

Pelosi, however, stood in joining in applause at Trump took the podium to address the National Prayer Breakfast.

“I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong. Nor do I like people who say, ‘I pray for you,’ when they know that that’s not so,” Trump said at Thursday’s event.

“So many people have been hurt and we can’t let that go on. And I’ll be discussing that a little bit later at the White House.”

With his remark, Trump appeared to take a jab at Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah.) and Pelosi. Romney voted “guilty” one of the two impeachment articles against Trump and cited his faith in his floor speech.

Trump later added in his concluding remarks, “When they impeach you for nothing, then you are supposed to like them, it’s not easy, folks. I do my best.”

At the end of his speech, the president again shook hands with those on his side of the dais but then proceeded to only point to Pelosi’s side.

Watch the event below:

As for his acquittal, Trump will deliver a public statement at 12 p.m. on Thursday.
