A Fox News segment devolved into chaos this week when Geraldo Rivera suggested that top Trump advisor Stephen Miller wrote the president’s Wednesday night speech to the nation.
Appearing on Sean Hannity‘s program, Rivera began, “We’re on the same side, it’s about messaging and that speech was written by senior advisor Stephen Miller, the same guy that imposed the Muslim ban. … You can do these things, you do them right, you do them in the American way.”
Hannity then threw the conversation to former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino who responded, “Geraldo, uh, you realize you’re repeating Chinese propaganda here. I hope you understand, you may be smart enough here.”
At that point, Rivera began shouting “oh don’t give me that crap” and “you’re a cheap shot artist. Talk to the facts!”
If there was any remaining decorum, it quickly evaporated as Bongino hollered, “You’re a bullshit artist, okay! What you just said is Chinese propaganda.”
Bongino added, “You are repeating Chinese propaganda on this channel and you know it, that Stephen Miller cheap shot is outrageous.”
A few moments later, Bongino said, “The Wuhan virus from Wuhan is a virus from China that is a foreign virus. Blaming it on Stephen Miller is outrageously stupid.”
Here’s the clip of the exchange:

On Monday, Fox Business host Trish Regan received criticism for a monologue that she delivered with the caption, “Coronavirus Impeachment Scam.” During her remarks, Regan told her viewers, “The chorus of hate being leveled at the president is nearing a crescendo as Democrats blame him and only him for a virus that originated halfway around the world. This is yet another attempt to impeach the president.”
