One day after revealing he was diagnosed with the coronavirus, CNN’s Chris Cuomo is sharing some of the symptoms — including hallucinations — he has experienced from having the virus.
During his show on Wednesday night, Cuomo opened up about the symptoms he experienced, “I’m going to share some insights that I’ve learned about what this virus is like in terms of fighting it.”
He started by sharing that even though he said he felt “way worse” than the day before, but he said his family tested negative for the virus.

Cuomo continued to share some of the symptoms he was experiencing including a prolonged, high fever.
He said, “I’ve had a fever, you’ve had a fever, but 102, 103, 103 plus that wouldn’t quit, and it was like someone was beating me like a pinata.”

“I was shivering so much,” Cuomo said, adding, “I chipped my tooth, these are not cheap.”
Additionally, Cuomo said he had hallucinations that included his father, former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, and people from college.
“It was freaky, what I lived through,” Cuomo said, adding, “I get it now, and if you match that with chest constriction and people can’t breathe, I totally get why we’re losing so many people and why our hospitals are so crowded.”
He finished the segment with encouragement to Americans to “be better than we’re being right now” and to hold government officials accountable to make sure they are “doing everything they can to limit this.”
Cuomo revealed on March 31 that he had been diagnosed with the coronavirus, as IJR previously reported.
