New reports say Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden holds a massive cash-on-hand advantage over President Donald Trump.

Politico reported that Biden currently has $141 million more on hand than Trump and is outspending the president by a 2-to-1 margin. And in some states, such as Michigan, Biden has outspent Trump by a 3-to-1 margin on TV ads.

However, the president insists that he is not concerned about the fundraising gap. During an interview on “Fox & Friends” Monday, he was asked about the Politico report.

He responded, “Well, they’ve always had more money than the Republicans. It’s sort of a funny thing. We have a lot.”

“Look, when I ran against crooked Hillary, I had 25% of the money that she had, and nobody ever talked about that. So, I had a small amount of the money that Hilary Clinton had,” he continued.

Trump also claimed that he was criticized after his 2016 victory because “I spent less money and won.”

He added, “I think we’re going to do very well. We have a lot of money. I mean, how much money do you need? You need yourself.”

Co-host Brian Kilmeade asked Trump if he would consider spending his own money during the race to help make up ground in the fundraising game.

Trump said he would be willing to, however, “We don’t need money. We have a lot of money too.”

Additionally, the president said that if he wanted to, he could make up the deficit rather quickly, “I must tell you I could raise … I could raise so much money if I took one day and just started making phone calls to rich people, but I don’t like doing that. I never did.

He reiterated, “I can get so much money in one day. Give me one day and a telephone. I get all these rich people that I know very well to put up millions of dollar apiece.”

But, he said he does not want to rake in missions of dollars because “the problem is I’m then obligated. No, I’m obligated to all of them. I don’t want — I don’t like being obligated.”
