Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s town hall with NBC News was supposed to be held with “undecided” voters, but a recent report suggests a few of the voters are not.
During the town hall hosted by NBC News’ Lester Holt on Monday night, there were two “undecided” voters who previously told MSNBC that they support Biden, The Washington Free Beacon reports.
Lawyer Peter Gonzalez asked Biden a question during the town hall, and marketing executive Ismael Llano asked another question. However, the two appeared on MSNBC in August where they were both described by the chyron as “voting for Biden.”
“If we get four more years of Trump, good luck, and good luck with the future attracting younger voters,” Gonzalez previously told MSNBC.
Another “undecided” voter, Mateo Gomez, at the town hall “told MSNBC on Sept. 30 that he was leaning toward voting Biden over Trump after watching the first debate,” as the Free Beacon reports.
Additionally, another attendee at the town hall, who was not previously on MSNBC, has posted pro-Biden and anti-Trump cover photos on Facebook, as the Free Beacon notes.
In case you missed the town hall:
The NBC News host, Holt, opened up the town hall on Monday saying, “Welcome to tonight’s town hall, where we are surrounded by dozens of undecided voters and where Democratic candidate Joe Biden will answer our questions and make his case tonight.”
