A CBS reporter asked Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden about a recent report about his son Hunter Biden, but the elder Biden swiped back.
Joe Biden did not hold back when CBS News reporter Bo Erickson asked him, “Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?”
However, the former vice president hit back, “I know you’d ask it.”
“I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask,” Joe Biden added.

Joe Biden was not questioned about the story from the New York Post surrounding his son during his ABC News town hall on Thursday evening.
However, Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates denied the report in a statement on Wednesday, “Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as ‘not legitimate’ and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing. Trump administration officials have attested to these facts under oath.”
The Post published a report this week alleging emails show Hunter Biden introduced his father — who was the U.S. vice president at the time — to an executive for Ukrainian energy company Burisma in 2015. Hunter Biden joined the company’s board in 2014.
“The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s ‘never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings‘ — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer,” the Post reported.
