Vice President Kamala Harris is being accused of using a fake accent during her trip to France.
On Wednesday, the vice president toured the Pasteur Institute in Paris.
While speaking to scientists, Harris appeared to adopt a French accent as she said, “We campaign with the plan. Uppercase ‘T’ uppercase ‘P.’ The Plan.”
“The environment is such that we are expected to defend the plan. Even when the first time we roll it out, there may be some glitches, and it’s time to reevaluate and then do it again,” she added.

Harris, who was a senator from California prior to becoming vice president, was accused of adopting a southern accent during her bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
During her trip, she is scheduled to attend the “Paris Conference on Libya” where she is expected to speak to world leaders about how to stop the flow of Libyan refugees to Europe.
According to The Washington Examiner, a White House official said Harris will be “expressing a deep concern for human rights and the situation of migrants and refugees, and reinforce the imperative of protecting vulnerable people, including those fleeing conflict.”
“Specifically, on Libya, we want to show our support for the Libyan people as they move towards national elections and as they focus on the importance of the withdrawal of foreign forces and mercenaries and fighters from Libya. We want to build a stable and prosperous Libya free from foreign interference and capable of combating terrorism within its borders,” the official added.
