Republicans are reacting to the news that President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) reacted to news of the president’s test result, tweeting, “What if he loses his sense of smell?”

He shared several pictures of Biden placing his head near other women’s heads. Comedians and conservatives have previously roasted Biden over reports that alleged he smelled various women’s hair.

A loss of smell is one of the symptoms of the virus.

Other Republicans also reacted to Biden’s diagnosis and wished him a speedy recovery.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wrote, “Heidi [and] I are lifting up President Joe Biden in prayer right now. May God’s healing hand be upon him, may Covid pass quickly, and may he have a swift and full recovery.”

Meanwhile, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) tweeted, “I was sorry to hear that President Biden has tested positive for COVID-19. Wishing him a speedy recovery.”

On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre revealed that Biden tested positive and was experiencing “very mild symptoms.”

In a tweet, Biden shared a photo of himself sitting at a desk, and wrote, “Folks, I’m doing great. Thanks for your concern.”

“Keeping busy!” he added.
