Actress Gwyneth Paltrow shared an update following a trial for her involvement in a ski crash that occurred at a luxury ski resort in Utah.

On April 16, Paltrow, 50, posted a video along with a few photos to her Instagram page showcasing her snow-filled vacation.

In the caption, Paltrow wrote that it was the “last weeks of March” and referenced “storms of varying kinds,” alluding to what seemed like the recent trial that happened at the end of March, per Fox News.

“A beautiful place to lay my head, cold therapy of the most natural kind, and a whisky discovery,” she added.

According to the lawsuit, filed by Terry Sanderson, 76, in 2019, Sanderson claimed Paltrow crashed into him and then left the scene.

He allegedly suffered “permanent traumatic brain injury, four broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life.” Sanderson also suffered emotionally and became disfigured as a result, per Fox News Digital.

Paltrow “countersued for $1” along with “attorney fees.”

Following the two-week trial and the testimony of several witnesses, the jury ruled in her favor and placed Sanderson “100 percent at fault” for the 2016 ski accident.

He was ordered to pay “$1 in damages in addition to her attorney fees.”

After winning the $300,000 “negligence suit,” Paltrow issued a statement to her Instagram page.

“I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge [Kent] Holmberg and the jury and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case,” she wrote.

Paltrow’s lawyer, Stephen Owens, also issued a statement commending Paltrow’s integrity.

“Gwyneth has a history of advocating for what she believes in – this situation was no different and she will continue to stand up for what is right,” he said.
