President Joe Biden had a two-letter response when asked if he ever lied about not speaking to his son, Hunter Biden, about his business deals.

Biden was asked by Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich on Monday, “Did you lie about never speaking to Hunter about his business deals?” according to Fox News. The president responded, “No.”

Hunter agreed to plead guilty to two counts of failing to pay federal income tax, and to one count of possessing a firearm “by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance,” according to a court filing from the Department of Justice.

“Did you ever speak with Hunter about his business dealings?” Heinrich asked Biden a second question, which she did not receive a response to, per the network.

Heinrich’s question comes after a photo recently circulated the internet, depicting a 2017 message from WhatsApp from Hunter Biden to a Chinese asset manager named Henry Zhao, according to the Washington Free Beacon. The message became public knowledge in the wake of Congress making the testimony of IRS whistblower, Gary Shapley, public.

In the message, Hunter Biden threatened the man named Zhao by invoking his father’s name.

“Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight,” said Hunter. “And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction.”

Hunter added in another message that he was, “sitting” with his “father.”

When asked by a reporter whether she had spoken to Biden about whether he was present in the room with his son, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she had not.

"Have you spoken to the president about this? Have you asked him whether he was there with his son on July 30, 2017?"

KJP: "This is not a conversation that I've had with the president."

"Do you plan to have that conversation?"

KJP: "No" pic.twitter.com/iASqIFQPVk

“This is not a conversation that I have had with the president,” said Jean-Pierre, adding that she had no intentions to ask him about whether he was present in the room with Hunter Biden at the time.
