One of the fans who was reprimanded by singer Miranda Lambert at her concert has spoken out about the incident.

In a phone interview with NBC News, Adela Calin, a social media influencer, recalled Lambert stopping her song “Tin Man” after she noticed Calin and her five friends taking photos together during her performance on Saturday.

“It was 30 seconds at most,” she explained. “We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down.”

While she was “appalled” by the incident, Calin, 43, said she believed Lambert’s less-than-thrilled reaction was due to high-strung fans throwing items at different artists during their performances.

However, she still expressed her disapproval of how Lambert handled the situation.

“It felt like I was back at school with the teacher scolding me for doing something wrong and telling me to sit down back in my place. I feel like she was determined to make us look like we were young, immature, and vain,” Calin said, adding she and her friends “were just grown women in our 30s to 60s trying to take a picture.”

Calin further explained the excessive photo-taking was a result of them not being able to “get one good picture” due to poor lighting.

“We were so excited because I think we had the best seats in the house in the whole theater,” she added.

In a viral clip posted to TikTok, Lambert is heard saying, “I’m gonna stop right here for a sec [Danielle]. These girls are worried about a selfie and not listening to the song. It’s pissing me off a little bit.”

“Sorry, I don’t like it — at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight. I’m singing some country damn music,” she added.

After telling the group of women to sit down, Lambert asked, “Shall we start again?”
