A mother of four died after falling and hitting her head on a treadmill at the LA Fitness in Kent, Washington.
Her sister, Marissa Woods, recalled the event for KIRO7 News, stating, “She (Delrie Rosario) tried to slow the machine down. I thought maybe she just missed a step. She just collapsed, [and] hit her head on the machine.”
“I was screaming, you know, ‘Anybody, just please help! Anybody know how to do CPR?’” she added.
Woods also explained how others at the gym attempted to help but that the employees did not.
“I think they were in shock,” Woods noted.
The LA Fitness declined to comment on the incident.
Despite the family’s loss, Woods described her sister’s dedication to others and how Rosario’s organ donor status is helping them through this difficult time.
Rosario, 36, was an organ donor and her sister said, “Five people, literally like right now! She’s saving lives. How big can your heart be to still be saving lives?” said Woods. “Just think, somebody’s walking around…with her big heart. They don’t even know what heart they’re about to get.”
Rosario is also remembered as “a mother first.” Her sister recalled that ”everything she did was for kids. She worked so hard for kids.”

According to People Magazine, the accident occurred last Friday.
She was known to work out at the gym and use a treadmill nearly every day. The fall knocked her unconscious, and she died after being rushed to the hospital.
A Go Fund Me has been set up by Rosario’s co-workers to care for her children. The campaign has raised over $41,000 already and continues to near a $50,000 goal as news of the accident spreads.
