The New York Times is getting blasted for a sentence about President Joe Biden’s interactions with business partners of his son, Hunter Biden.

Hunter Biden’s former business associate, Devon Archer, testified the elder Biden would sometimes speak to his son’s business partners over the phone. However, he insisted the conversations were purely casual conversations about topics such as the weather.

In an article about the meetings, the Times wrote, “It has long been known that the elder Mr. Biden at times interacted with his son’s business partners.”

Conservatives on Twitter criticized the sentence as they argued it ran contrary to Joe Biden’s previous statements.

Townhall’s Guy Benson wrote, “Folks, just look at this sentence from the NYT.”

Joe Biden has previously denied talking to Hunter Biden about his foreign business dealings.

And the White House insisted he was “never in business” with his son.
