Viewers of “The View” reacted to the talk show’s recent promo seemingly without host Whoopi Goldberg.
On Aug. 15, “The View” posted the promo video for the show’s new season on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Hosts Joy Behar, 80, Sunny Hostin, 54, Ana Navarro, 51, Sara Haines, 45, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, 34, took part in the promo. Goldberg, 67, who has been a longtime host of the show appeared toward the end, hiding behind the camera.
“Uh ohhh, I don’t see Whoopi,” one user wrote.

Another user expressed they would be happy to see Goldberg go.
“It’s time for Whoopi to GO!! She brings the whole show down to me,” they wrote.
However, other users realized the video was just a teaser.
“Yes!!! There she is!!! You scared me!!! Shame on you!!” one user expressed, adding, “Miss you all!”

Another user admitted not seeing Goldberg “scared” them.
“I was about to rip y’all a new one, about to spew all kinds of meanness for doing a promo without the glue that holds it all together. I know Whoopi is coming back!” the person shared.
The user also recognized the importance of watching “entire videos BEFORE ripping.”
“Halloween level scare! Well played,” the person continued.
Another user wrote, “Ya’ll had me for a second there. I got scared that Whoopi wasn’t coming back.”
The user also expressed excitement “for the new season” and congratulated the women “on a brand new season!”
