Allison Holker, widow of DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss, danced for the first time since his suicide.
On Sunday, Holker, 35, who went viral for her dance routine reels with Boss, posted a video of her busting a move on her Instagram page with choreographer Brittany Russell.
“Truly felt so good to dance again. I was overwhelmed with so many emotions,” Holker shared.
She continued, “I was both scared and excited. But dance has always been there for me… even now and I am so grateful for that. And thank you [Brittany Russell] for making it so fun and making me feel safe!”

In an exclusive interview with People in May, Holker said she hadn’t danced since Boss’ death. She also reminisced on the times she danced with him describing it as “so special.”
“That’s gonna be a big step for me, but I know that I’ll get there. He’s guiding me on this path,” she said.
Furthermore, Holker revealed no one knew of Boss’ struggles because he kept his pain private.
“No one had any inkling that he was low. He didn’t want people to know,” she said adding, “He just wanted to be everyone’s Superman and protector.”
In the interview, she revealed how she was coping with the loss of her husband.
“It’s been really hard because I can’t understand what was happening in that moment [he died],” she shared.
In December 2022, Boss died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 40 years old.
Holker confirmed the news of his tragic passing in an exclusive statement to People.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him,” she said.
