President Joe Biden is laughing off concerns about his age as polls show even a majority of Democrats think he is too old to run again.
During an event in Philadelphia on Monday, a member of the audience predicted the president has 10 years left to live.
“Mr. President, I’m going to 89. You’ll live to be 90!” he shouted.
Biden, 80, laughed and then made the sign of a cross.
“I tell you what, someone said, ‘That Biden, he’s getting old, man,'” he said.
Biden added:
“The only thing that comes with age is a little bit of wisdom. I’ve been doing this longer than anybody… I’m going to continue to do it with your help.”

Biden’s comment comes the same day poll conducted by The Wall Street Journal found 73% of Americans think he is too old to run for president again.
Two-thirds of Democrats said the same.
By contrast, 47% of voters say former President Donald Trump, 77, is too old for the presidency.
And last week, an AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research survey found that 77% of respondents said Biden is too old to be effective in a second term, including 69% of Democrats.
