Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is calling out the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination for skipping the second primary debate.
“Where’s Joe Biden? He’s completely missing in action from leadership,” the Florida governor said during the second Republican presidential primary debate on Wednesday.
He continued, “And you know who else is missing in action? Donald Trump is missing in action.”
“He should be on this stage tonight. He owes it to you to defend his record where they added $7.8 trillion to the debt. That set the stage for the inflation that we have.”

Former President Donald Trump once again opted to skip the debate.
Instead, he delivered a speech to mostly retired UAW members in Detroit, Michigan amid the ongoing auto worker strike.
