Masses of men claiming to be “non-binary” overran a women’s technology conference in Orlando, Florida, last week.
The Grace Hopper Celebration featured female speakers meant to inspire women and non-binary workers in tech fields.
Instead, the event was flooded by men who “lied,” according to Fox News.
Cullen White, the group’s chief impact officer, stated while speaking at the conference, “Yesterday, it became clear that there are a far greater number of cisgender men than we anticipated. Simply put, some of you lied about your gender when you registered.”
This was mocked by Fox’s “Outnumbered” guest Ben Ferguson on Wednesday.
He stated, “You have to admit it’s pretty funny watching a dude yelling about dudes being dudes.”
Fox reported that “Outnumbered” co-host Emily Compagno asked, “What do you expect?”
“Of course, you’re going to have the whole camel eventually get into the tent, because you have been totally fine with its nose going in there.” she added.
Generation She founder and CEO Avni Barman disagreed, per Fox News.
She stated, “I was definitely pretty shocked. When I arrived at the conference, I was pretty confused about what was going on.”
“I had hundreds of girls come running to me basically in tears,” she concluded.
Fox News also reported that a large number of the males in attendance wore he/him pronoun lanyards.
The group’s Advisory President Bo Young Lee posted about the situation on X, formerly Twitter, stating, “In the past, it has always felt safe and loving and embracing.”
“And this year, I must admit, I didn’t feel this way.”

“We tried to create a safe space, and this week we saw the outside world creep in,” she added. “This makes me angry, and it makes me sad, but mostly it makes me want to fight.”
According to Fox News, Ferguson noted during his “Outnumbered” interview, “I love this.”
“I think it needs to happen more so we can get back to a sane world where there is a difference between men and women,” he said.
