Soldiers Reportedly Discover Arabic Copy of Adolf Hitler’s ‘Mein Kampf’ in Children’s Room in Gaza

BERLIN, GERMANY - DECEMBER 15: A 1941 edition of Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" ("My Struggle") stands at the library of the Deutsches Historisches Museum (German Historical Museum) on December 15, 2015 in Berlin, Germany. The state of Bavaria took possession of the copyright to the book after World War II, though the copyright is due to expire and the book will enter the public domain on January 1, 2016. Germany will continue to heavily restrict publication of the book in Germany though it will have little control over publications abroad. Hitler wrote the book that is both an autobiography and also presents his political vision while he was a prisoner in Germany in he 1920s. (Photo by Sean Gallup/Getty Images)

Israeli soldiers reportedly discovered an Arabic copy of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf” in a children’s bedroom at a Hamas terrorist base in Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the copy of the autobiographical book written by the Nazi leader had been discovered among several “personal belongings” of one of the Hamas terrorists.

Since Hamas launched a surprise invasion of Israel on Oct. 7, leaving more than 1,400 Israelis dead, Israel has continued to bomb Gaza, which is under the control of Hamas.

Soldiers “discovered a copy of Hitler’s infamous book ‘Mein Kampf’-translated into Arabic-in a child’s bedroom used as a Hamas terrorist base in Gaza,” the IDF wrote.

Never again is NOW.

“The book was discovered among the personal belongings of one of the terrorists, featuring annotations and highlights,” the IDF added.

IDF added that “Hamas embraces the ideology of Hitler, the one responsible for the annihilation of the Jewish people.”

On November 28, 1941, Haj Amin al-Husseini, who is thought of as one of the founders of Palestinian nationalism, met with Hitler, according to an excerpt from the meeting from The Times of Israel.

During this meeting, al-Husseini informed Hitler that the “entire Arab world” admired him and continued to thank him for the sympathy that he had “always shown for the Arab and especially the Palestinian cause.”

“The Arab countries were firmly convinced that Germany would win the war and that the Arab cause would then prosper,” the excerpt continued. “The Arabs were Germany’s natural friends because they had the same enemies as had Germany, namely the English, the Jewish and the Communists.”

During World War Two, tens of thousands of Muslims fought for the Nazis, according to Deutsche Welle, a German public and state-owned broadcaster. Nazi Germany made attempts to court the Muslim world against “common enemies” such as the “British Empire, the Soviet Union, America and Jews.”

Nazi German soldiers were trained to “behave correctly towards Muslim populations” and buildings such as mosques and prayer halls were rebuilt.
