Vice President Kamala Harris claimed that world leaders expressed “hope” that she and President Joe Biden won re-election.

During the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on Thursday, Harris allegedly told a crowd of donors that several world leaders expressed their hopefulness that Biden and Harris would win re-election, according to the Washington Examiner.

“The first thing, I’m not kidding you, that each one of them said – the first thing they said: ‘We hope you’re going to win,” Harris told a crowd of donors.

SAN FRANCISCO — Vice President Kamala Harris claimed during a fundraiser that world leaders had confided to her they hope she and President Joe Biden win next year's election.

Harris later explained at a fundraiser held at the home of two donors, Quinn Delaney and Wade Jordan in Piedmont, California, that while she had been visiting the United Kingdom for the Global Artificial Safety Summit, world leaders had expressed their thoughts to her “out of self interest.”

“Out of self-interest,” Harris explained. “Because of what they know the future of our country means and represents for the future of their countries.”

Several polls have shown that the upcoming 2024 presidential election will be a close one between Biden and former President Donald Trump. A Reuters/Ipsos survey conducted between Nov. 13 and 14 showed that 30% of voters expressed support for Biden while 32% expressed support for Trump.

Similarly, a poll conducted by The Economist/YouGov between Nov. 11-14 showed that 42% of voters would support Biden, while 43% would support Trump.

“We have a lot of good material,” Harris added, admitting that their upcoming campaign for reelection would be “hard.”

Harris continued to add that their “challenges will just be to remind people who” brought the good material “to them.”

“When people want to talk about the polls, on and on about the polls, let me tell you, everything we have accomplished is highly, highly popular with the American people,” Harris said.

Harris, who has experienced low approval ratings, set a record low for a net negative rating as vice president. A recent Fox News poll conducted between Nov. 10-13 showed that Harris received a 38% approval rating and a 59% disapproval rating.

A similar poll conducted by CNN between Oct. 27-Nov. 2 showed Harris with a 39% approval rating and a 61% disapproval rating.
