Rapper Cardi B slammed the government of New York City for having defunded libraries, the police, and sanitation departments.

In an Instagram live video on Sunday, Cardi B revealed that she was “angry” about recent budget cuts that New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) revealed earlier this week, and added that she would no longer be endorsing presidential candidates.

Adams announced on Thursday that the budget cuts would lead to a freeze in police hiring and libraries would be closed on Sundays, in an effort to deal with the ongoing migrant crisis, according to The New York Times.

“In New York, there is a $120 million budget cut,” Cardi B began. “There is a $120 million budget cut in New York that is going to affect schools, public libraries, and uhm…the police department.”

The rapper continued to point out that there was also a $5 million budget cut to the sanitation department.

“A budget cut in sanitation,” Cardi B said. “B**ch, we going to be drowning with rats. We’re going to be drowning in f**king rats.”

Cardi B continued to add how she would no longer endorse political candidates for president and slammed President Joe Biden’s willingness to “fund two wars” while New York City would be slashing funding for schools, police, libraries, and sanitation.

“Motherf**kers talkin’ about we don’t got it, but we got it and we’re the greatest nation,” Cardi B continued. “No the f**k we’re not. We’re going through some s**t right now.”

The rapper continued to point out how “New York is already f**king super dirty” and that it would get “even dirtier” with the budget cuts.
