On Christmas Eve, she posted an Instagram clip of herself and her children in front of their tree.
She was decked out in her classic red Christmas snowsuit while the children complained, begging her not to “do this every single time.”
Carey argued, “It’s just being festive,” and that “it’s not every…” before breaking out into song as her kids ran away.

And despite her children joking about being sick of the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” hit, Carey’s duet with her daughter, singing “Away in a Manger” is becoming an annual treat.
Monday night she sang “Away in a Manger” with “Miss Monroe” as she calls her, during the CBS special “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All.”
This recaptured the duet’s previous performances by once again featuring both Carey and her daughter in white dresses sitting side by side while harmonizing together.
Miss Monroe also recently performed with Carey on one of her other original Christmas songs titled, “Jesus Born on This Day,” via Broadcast Houston.
As Carey’s 2023 Christmas tour finished, she posted to Instagram, reflecting on all the wonderful moments she shared with her family onstage and her fans across the country.
