As Iowa is facing freezing temperatures, former President Donald Trump is urging his supporters to show up — even if they might die.
During an event on Sunday, Trump said, “If you want to save America from ‘Crooked Joe Biden,’ you must go caucus tomorrow.”
“You can’t sit [at] home. If you’re sick as a dog… even if you vote and then pass away, it’s worth it… get up!” he added, drawing laughs from the audience.

Trump insisted caucus-goers will be safe as they will be indoors.
Finally, he added, “You gotta get up, you gotta vote, because it has nothing to with anything but taking our nation back — and that’s the biggest thing there is.”
His comment came a day ahead of the Iowa caucuses, the first time Republicans will formally get to make their voice heard in the 2024 primary.
However, freezing weather could hinder turnout for the event.
According to Fox Weather, most of the state will see high temperatures below zero on Monday, setting a record low for the caucuses.
Additionally, there could be wind gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
RealClearPolitics’ average of polls shows Trump with a massive lead in first place at 52.5%.
Meanwhile, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley comes in second at 18.7%.
