Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley is facing some criticism for her surprise appearance on “SNL.”
Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for president, was asked on CNN on Monday which of the two Republican presidential candidates he prefers: Former President Donald Trump or Haley.
“I’m going to support the Republican nominee. I was with Gov. DeSantis, we’ll let this play out,” Roy responded.
However, he added, “I don’t think that Gov. Haley, with all due respect, is representing the conservatives that I represent when she’s going on ‘SNL’ and she’s out, you know, kind of playing the establishment game.”
“What, what?” Collins asked. “You’re not going to endorse her because she went on ‘Saturday Night Live’?”

Roy clarified, “No, no. Because she was saddling up with establishment money out of New York that she was using to go target Ron DeSantis to the tune of $26 million in Iowa.”
“So she made her bed. Let’s go see if she can make,” he added.
Collins added Trump also “spent a lot of money against Ron DeSantis.”
Last week, Haley made a surprise appearance on “SNL” amid her bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
