A co-host of ABC’s “The View” is expressing concerns a supporter of former President Donald Trump may “sneak” onto the jury in his hush money trial.

On Tuesday, “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin stated it will not be possible to find someone to be a juror who “doesn’t know about the former, twice impeached, loser president.”

But she pointed out the legal teams will be the checking the social media feeds of the potential jurors to “assess the truthfulness and intention” of what was said during the jury selection period.

“Because, if you start liking… and you follow Trump’s stuff on social media, can you be impartial? I don’t really think so,” Hostin continued.

She highlighted a comment made by conservative radio host Clay Travis who suggested Trump supporters should try to get onto the jury.

She added, “You get one person that sneaks onto that jury with untoward feelings, that person can hang that jury.”

Co-host Joy Behar asked, “How do you sneak onto a jury?”

“Well, you lie,” Hostin responded.

She added, “You lie, and you say, ‘I hate Trump, but I can be impartial.’ And I this and that. And then all of a sudden, that’s the person.”

Her comment came jury selection in Trump’s criminal trial in New York City was underway. According to Axios, roughly 50 of the 96 potential jurors who were called left the courthouse on Monday after they said they could not be impartial.
