President Joe Biden brought up the death of his while speaking about families worrying that their loved one who is a police officer will be killed in the line of duty.
During an event in New York on Thursday, Biden spoke about families who have loved ones who are police officers.
“Every time a police officer puts on that shield every morning, their husband or wife, whatever it is, or child, worries about will they get that phone call,” the president said.
He added, “I got one of those phone calls in a different circumstance.”

The president’s son, Beau Biden, died in 2015 of brain cancer.
And Joe Biden has repeatedly mentioned his death to try to related with grieving families.
He has repeatedly claimed Beau died in Iraq.
Last year, he faced heat after he tried to relate the families of the victims of the wildfires in Maui by noting he experienced a small kitchen fire.
