A 2019 tweet is coming back to haunt President Joe Biden after he vowed to cut off weapons shipments to Israel if it invades Rafah.
In Oct. 2019, Biden shared a post from The New York Times about then-White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney telling reporters aid to Ukraine was held up to convincing Ukrainian officials to launch an investigation into Democrats.
“President Trump withheld Congressionally appropriated aid to Ukraine unless they granted him a political favor. It’s the definition of quid pro quo,” the then-former vice president wrote.
He added, “This is no joke—Trump continues to put his own personal, political interests ahead of the national interest. He must be impeached.”

However, now that Biden has said he would cut off aid to Israel if it invades Rafah, the tweet has surfaced.
