Another celebrity is calling for President Joe Biden to leave the presidential race.

Actress Ashley Judd wrote an op-ed published Friday in USA Today.

Judd said there are a couple of reasons Biden should bow out. She said she has friends and family who are are Trump supporters. Their support of Trump, along with Biden’s poor performance in the presidential debate, leads to the president “incapable of countering Trump.”

“The defense of our cherished rights and freedoms, the moral imperative that we do better by more people, and our bodies, cannot be left to voters who see and are frightened of the consequences of President Biden’s obvious limitations, or who are now not going to vote,” Judd wrote.

Judd said another Trump presidency “cannot be America’s future.”

While Judd has publicly urged Biden to leave the race, she believed in what Biden has done to date. She pointed out his work with job growth and American investment.

Judd said another Trump presidency would result in  “very real hurt” for Americans.

“The Democratic Party must not delay in thanking President Biden and supporting a talented, robust Democrat to be our party’s nominee,” she wrote. “We do not have another day for distraction or division among ourselves.”

Judd added “it is clear” that minds have been made against Biden, “on top of the majority who love to vote for Donald Trump.”

Actor George Clooney called for Biden to step aside in a piece he wrote in The New York Time, IJR reported

More Democrats are also coming forward in an effort to see Biden step aside and have another candidate forward, per The Hill.
