President Joe Biden is trying to capitalize on a comment from former President Donald Trump to attack him.
However, his attempt to do so in a speech to the NAACP is not going exactly as he expected.
On Tuesday, Biden referenced a comment Trump made during their first debate when he said illegal immigrants are “taking Black jobs, and they’re taking Hispanic jobs.”
“Of course, here’s what he thinks of ‘Black jobs,’ I love his phrase ‘Black jobs,” Biden said. “Tells a lot about the man and about his character.”
He added, “Folks, I know what a Black job is! It’s the Vice President of the United States.”
Biden also said, “I know what a Black job is, the first Black president in American history, Barack Obama!”

While the moment was meant as a jab at Trump, it did not go over well.
