President Joe Biden is raising eyebrows after a comment he made about House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.)

On Monday, Biden was asked about Johnson’s opposition to his Supreme Court reform proposals.

The top Republican has said they are “dead on arrival.”

When asked about that comment, Biden responded, “He is.”

“He is. Dead on arrival,” he added.

Watch the video below:

President Biden was just asked on the tarmac about Speaker Johnson calling his Supreme Court reform “dead on arrival.” “That’s what he is,” Biden said. Asked for clarification, a reporter shouted, “That he is?” Biden responded: “He is. Dead on arrival.” pic.twitter.com/kEOV2y21Yi

Seems like Joe Biden just threatened a member of the legislature. https://t.co/WTuiqbV5zZ

The White House later tried to clarify Biden’s comment, insisting the president was speaking about Johnson’s “thinking.”

This is incoherent and pathetic

Taylor Haulsee, a spokesperson for Johnson, said the explanation was “incoherent and response.”
