Vice President Kamala Harris is set to hold a rally in Philadelphia with a special guest — her running mate.

The presumptive Democratic nominee for president is expected to announce her pick by then, which marks the start of a campaign tour in seven swing states the two will embark on that includes western Wisconsin, Detroit, Raleigh, Savannah, Phoenix and Las Vegas, per Politico.

Harris became the heir apparent on the Democratic ticket after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race July 21.

With the phrase “location, location, location” on people’s minds, there’s speculation this could mean Harris’ pick is Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.

However, a Harris campaign aide said that may not be the case since she has not decided on her pick yet.

Harris is set to interview the candidate pool in the next few days, according to those familiar with the vetting process.

Other possible running mates are Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Shapiro, who said Tuesday he hasn’t spoken with Harris since July 21, has been campaigning for Harris throughout Pennsylvania recently.

Shapiro called Harris “a tough-as-nails prosecutor” Tuesday and threw shade at Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) as “not exactly off to a good start.”

Vance is Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s running mate.

Shapiro spoke about Harris’ decision, but declined to say if he is interested in being her running mate.

“The vice president has a very deeply personal decision to make right now: who she wants to run with, who she wants to govern with, and who can be by her side when she has to make the toughest decisions for the American people. I trust she will make that decision on her own terms when she is ready,” Shapiro said.

Meanwhile, others on the short list have also been campaigning on Harris’ behalf.

Walz called Trump’s GOP “weird people,” and Beshear said that “JD Vance ain’t from here.”
