Former President Donald Trump is taking aim at President Joe Biden for his extended stay at the beach.

During a rally on Thursday, Trump asked, “Do we have a president?”

“He just got back from California. He was supposed to go to the White House. He never got there. He went to Delaware, and he’s laying on a beach sleeping all day long.” he continued. “Who the hell wants to sleep? And who wants to sleep in public? He’s sleeping!”

Trump added, “You think President Xi is at a beach sleeping?”

Trump blasts Biden for being "asleep at the wheel of the country":

Trump’s comment comes after Biden dropped out of the race and has been enjoying a relaxed schedule.

After his speech at the Democratic National Convention, he traveled to California and then to his beach home in Delaware.

For the last 10 days, the only item on his public schedule has been to receive the president’s daily brief.

White House deputy press secretary Emilie Simons said in a statement, “As with all Administrations, there is no such thing as a presidential ‘vacation.’ The President is always working wherever he goes. Anyone claiming anything otherwise is either misinformed or engaged in misinformation.”
