Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is watching whose company former President Donald Trump keeps. And he is concerned.

Graham said Thursday that Trump stay away from conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer.

“We have policy disagreements but the history of this person is just really toxic,” Graham told the HuffPost. “I mean, she actually called for Kellyanne Conway’s daughter to hang herself. I don’t know how this all happened, but, no, I don’t think it’s helpful. I don’t think it’s helpful at all.”

Loomer sparked outrage earlier this week by posting on X, formerly Twitter, the White House will “smell like curry” if Vice President Kamala Harris is elected president in an apparent jab at Harris’ Indian heritage.

She has also been a conspiracy theorist regarding the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, calling them an “inside job.”

Loomer was been seen in the company of Trump this week — first at the Philadelphia airport before the debate on Tuesday, then at a ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 on Wednesday in New York.

Graham, a Trump supporter, said he wasn’t doing himself any favors by spending time with Loomer — and he is not the only one who feels that way.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene is right. I don’t say that a lot,” Graham said.

“I think what [Loomer] said about Kamala Harris and the White House is abhorrent, but it’s deeper than that,” he said. “I mean, you know, some of the things she’s said about Republicans and others is disturbing. I mean, to call for someone’s daughter to hang themselves. Yeah, no, I think that the president would serve himself well to make sure this doesn’t become a bigger story.”

Greene called Loomer’s statement regarding a possible Harris White House “extremely racist.”

“This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA,” Greene said. “This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”

Loomer clapped back at Graham with a post on X, claiming Graham has “never been loyal” to Trump.

“He got booed in his own state at a TRUMP RALLY and was booed off stage because he is DISLOYAL to Trump and the American people,” Loomer wrote about an event in February.

Lindsey Graham @LindseyGrahamSC has never been loyal to President Trump.

He probably shouldn’t be giving out advice to Donald Trump.

“In the words of President Trump, ‘Senator Lindsey Graham is doing a great disservice to the Republican Party, and to our Country,’” she added.

House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.) also spoke out about Trump and Loomer, calling it shocking, irresponsible and offensive.

“The fact that on Sept. 11, this sacred day, he would bring a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to participate in events during this solemn commemoration should shock the conscience of all decent Americans,” Jeffries said Thursday at a press conference.
