San Francisco 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa is not making any excuses about wearing a MAGA hat on live TV — even saying it was “well worth it.”
Bosa crashed a teammate’s interview after his team defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Oct. 27, Mediaite reported. As he crashed the post-game interview, Bosa wore a MAGA hat, which touched off a bit of controversy since the NFL does not allow players to wear clothing with non-league-approved messages.
His reasoning?
“I think it’s an important time,” Bosa said at the time.
Now, the NFL is investigating the matter and may fine him, CBS Sports insider Jonathan Jones recently reported.
Bosa did not seem phased about the possibility of a fine Wednesday.
“I don’t know,” he said. “I haven’t gotten one yet; but if it comes, it comes.”
He added it was “well worth it.”
“I don’t think my position on speaking about it is gonna change,” Bosa said. “Clearly, the nation spoke and we got what we got.”
