The pomp and circumstance will play only one part in President-elect’s day Monday.

The newly minted president is also expected to sign at least 50 executive orders as he hits the ground running on the first day of his second presidency, according to a person in his transition operation, NBC News reported.

Trump will be sworn in at noon and will, with pen in hand, sign several of the orders later that afternoon.

The most anticipated action involves the U.S. border with Mexico.

“You’re going to see executive orders that are going to make [you] extremely happy, lots of them. … We have to set our country on the proper course,” Trump said at a rally at Capital One Arena Sunday. “By the time the sun sets tomorrow evening, the invasion of our borders will have come to a halt, and all the illegal border trespassers will in some form or another, be on their way back home.”

The southern boarder played a big part in his first term as president as he had his sights set on building a boarder wall. However, Congress would not give him the money for the wall.

Trump is also expected to stop funding for climate-related provisions involving Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act. This could test the power of a president to unilaterally withhold congressionally approved funding, the news outlet reported.

Trump has also said he will reinstate the “Schedule F” policy. With this, he would reclassify thousands of federal civil service jobs so the would  so be easier to fill with like-minded candidate.

On Saturday, Trump told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker he would be signing “a record-setting number of documents” after the swearing-in ceremony.
